Once again I require further help.
I took the small part of the passenger side dash off my 300Tdi defender so as to cut a hole for a speaker but out fell a couple of unconnected wires. They have connectors on the end but have no obvious destination (see picture). The wires appear to come off the main loom with the wiper motor wires on. I found a guide that suggested these wires were for map light/horn but both work fine without these connected.
Any help would be well received! Thanks

Those are speaker wires I think

Wrong colour for speakers and also to thick, L/H speaker would be a black wire and a black / white tracer wire, can't really tell what colour they are from the picture but they're certainly not black

Speaker terminals are way smaller than that though, Haynes shows a purple/yellow wire in the heated windscreen diagram but I can't see a purple/red, but in my defence I am on my third pint of bacardi and coke and am having a bit of trouble typing:beer2:

Haha, epic! Pints of Bacardi and coke?!

I'll have a look if we still haven't solved this in a few days, though that means braving the tarpaulin and spiders!

+1 for speaker wires.

The two blade connectors should be different sizes (for +ve and -ve) - Cheaper to manufacture and install the same loom for all 'fenders than to use some with and without the optional extras...

Alm

Speaker wires it is then! I will just tuck them back where I found them then and pretend I didn't see them as I have just spent the last 3 days making holes for/wiring up some speakers!
