Anyone know much about the fitting basically what I need to now is what's to stop someone coming along and undoing the screws an refitting an original steering wheel I've asked a guy on eBay but he's answered every other question but what I'm asking he's even answering questions I haven't even asked
If it's top secret will someone PM me please :)

2 pairs of mole grips and they can drive off, waste of money

The guy on eBay is saying the boss uses the original steering wheel nut and is covered by the new steering wheel mechanism so could not be driven with mole grips as none of the original column is showing I'm just trying to get a idea of how they work I don't get it myself what's to stop someone coming along and unbolting the boss and re fitting a whole new steering wheel I'm just not getting how it would even work that's why I'm asking if anyone has one or has had one

You have to remember most security mods only slow them down, they won't stop them.
The steering wheel mod might just make them move on to someone else as they May not have the time to fit a new one. That's the only benefit .

That's what I'm thinking I have a disc lock at the minute I've heard of a few going missing with disc locks but not with removable steering wheels but I've been thinking when I come to sell the 90 I'd like to change it back as it's not everyone's cuppa tea which got me thinking if I can swap it back what's to stop a tea leaf changing it back to original

QUICK RELEASE REMOVABLE SNAP OFF BLACK boss kit will fit momo omp steering wheel | eBay

This is the boss I have been looking at the guy on eBay says none of the original column shows And For £24 it might be worth a look if it helps keep my 90 from being pinched then it's worth it

See what you guys think ?

A pair of these I believe would work

Irwin Vise-Grip Large Jaw Locking Pliers — 12in. Length, Model# 12L3-12LC | Locking Pliers| Northern Tool + Equipment

For me I would stick with a disc lock, Wouldn't take long to take that boss of and put an original wheel back on. (possibly quick than it trying to remove the disc lock)
