Finally got around to fitting my new second row seats today.
Used a tip I found on a forum. Another guy had fitted Renault Scenic seats. They looked smart and he said they worked well so I got some.
So here they are.
They are comfortable....but they are too high and the angle needs addressing. They tip too far back. I tried adding some spacer at the rear of the seats but really the front needs dropping.
As you sit so high anyone tall would have their head pressed up to the headlining.
To fit them I had to cut off the side frames from the base frame.
Looks like I will have to chop a couple plus inches out of the tubular seat frame.
Not sure I'm going to. Might just weld the side frames back on and bite the bullet and get some Exmoor trim replacements.
The original seats were just those crap square blocks of foam, no good to travel any distance.
