Seat repair????

Need to get my leather seats repaired any advice on where will do them preferably in the Essex/Suffolk areas.
I want to keep them original as it's an ES model with full leather interior but the stitching has split.

Find a good saddler they'll do it for you ...

Must be some left in Suffolk ...

I just kept my eye on fleabay and got a full interior same as mine but with no splits in the seats for £100 and it looks a fairly simple job to swap the seat bases over and I may treat it to new seat foam as well.

It took a few months to find one local and in the right colour but they are out there. I did enquire with a upholsterer and they wanted £200 to just sew a patch in if I stripped the seat for them.

I'd look for some decent seats and swap the covers over if the foam is ok. The bases are the easiest bits, no hassle.

I am surprised that exmoor don't to a re trim kit in baige. You would thought there would be a good demand for it.

Well they did but not a DIY kit, leave your old seat and frame with them and receive replacements in exchange there an then, they even assisted u in the removal and fitting if required.
