Seat covers

Hello everyone!

I seem to be having difficulties finding seat covers for my 300Tdi ES Disco (leather seats). I want to protect them from wear as the drivers seat began developing a small split at the seam. As I work on building sites I also want to protect them from my dirty clothes

Everywhere I found seat covers for a Discovery 1 for sale it says "not suitable for leather seats".
Has anyone bought seat covers for a Discovery like mine?

Halfords or Molevalley farmers etc etc think the not suitable is cos they slide around on the leather seats.

i just bought some of these for my 110 they are pretty impressive cant see why they would'nt go on leather seats

bit steep i know but they fit really well
if the disco 2 seats are the same a mate has a pair he wants to sell if yer interested pm me

They probably would slide a bit, but the seat itself is a different shape (different headrest). Bought ones on eBay just to discover that they don't fit after spending £40 on them and damaging them in the process of trying to fit them which means I can't return them- lovely. I can nip into Halfords and ask them.

doubt they would slide much they are a very tight fit and very good securing fittings

Buckshot, the front seats might be the same as in a Disco 2, but I know that the rear ones are different. The ones from Brookwells do seem to be really good but I think they might be just a bit over my seat cover budget.

as i said a mate has a front pair he might part with as he has just sold his G4 disco2 (and get this bought a X5 FFS!) so soon to be ex mate

Be interesting to see how the X5 does off road, unless of course he doesn't want to get it dirty
