Got the mot looming for the first time since I've owned my series 2a and I've noticed that it has no rear reflectors or number plate light. The side lights have been replaced with the common cheap ones you see everywhere and it must have passed it's last mot like this before I owned it.
Are these requirements for a mot? It is a 1965 model and is mostly original but I can easily stick on some reflectors (should they be round?) but the number plate light is a bit more difficult. I guess there should be a clear section on the rear side light to illuminate the number plate and if so, should only the number plate side sidelight be like this or both of them?
Cheers

Thanks Redhand, that's a great link. Looks like the reflectors could be the least of my mot worries!

hi normal the lights have reflectors in the middel of light and clear strip along the bottem for number plate or get yourself a separate one ?

Just ordered myself a pair of new lights. Fit those and do a couple of hundred of other jobs and the MoT will be a breeze! Cheers!
