its before you start a 109. i hear romours that its different from the disco and different from the def?

but if its out of a rr its faster than def or disco as i have driven all three.
how much?where? and finally how? is it the same **** as the disco though a different model as the rr had all the electric's do she need some kind of rr cross disco series loom? All help really needed this is for a customer and has this been done to a series as it has pre def's and disco series but the rr verson?

thanks again!

just had to get this out of the stolen section as posted by accident there what a TIT!!!"!!!!!!"!!!!!!!!!"""!!!!!!!!!

Do you know Why its faster?

I believe they are the same as the Disco Engine'd however RRC had a VC and a 1.208 or transfer box ratio. Discos were 1.4:1 or 1.22:1

disco rr are the same ,defender would be better fit but like rocking horse **** 200 disco widely avaiable £200-£300,in good order, apart from borg warner rr and disco share same trasmission ,engines etc

no its not the same speed as a discovery, and i have 12 DEF 200tdi's so not using them as they have less than 46k on them, (have 6 more as of tomarrow) rare as well as they all came out of the early 1990 bird's!

any way just went rolling roading with three standard disco's and three standard mates rr 200tdi's still awaiting the printer to work so i can get them up on here, also the rr's got alot more speed as i found in my mates yeterday 110MPH i got and the disco 99and a half so much more torque as well. and yes they are all standard.

they are the same same gearbox wether auto or manual ,engines vehicles vary espewcially of this age, theres nothing in t/box ratios to worry about, diffs the same ,engines the same ,ive built them from every nut bolt down and up including maching

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME SPEED THOUGH!!!!!! I HAVE THREE OF THEM AND LAND ROVER TO SAY THAT THEY WERN'T THE FRIGGING SAME.

yes they may mate to a landy series the same as the disco and that i do get but rr tuned there's more as the rr was slightly more heavier than the disco whitch is why they brought the disco out EVOLUTION ITS CALLED!!!!

well what can i say you get parts book out and go through it ,disco just different body on same chassis apart from borgwarner transfer box

You are so full of ****

We been through all this shot before
A 200 tdi will red line at what 4000 rpm ish
It don't matter what it's out of 4000rpm is still 400rpm
To make anything fast top end it is all done with gear ratios
Either the main gearbox, the transfer box or the diff
If you want to make something faster that what you got to change
The only difference I can think between different 200 tdi is the power output this would be due to compression ratios this won't make it faster at top end but will give you better pull with the higher ratio engine

Thank you, my heid was begining to hurt.:)

gearbox ratios! Are the other vehicles making 4k have the pumps been modified or turned down? Have they been regularly serviced ect?

Sweet 16 you sound like a winging 16yo

Disco 1 heavier than the rr by approx 150/200 kilos
