Hi
I have found some round rubber things on each corner of my 90 200tdi. This was a suprise. However I have been told that they are in actual fact a requirement.
Because if they were not there I could have an issue with ground clearance.
Any way. They are the wheels and tyres. I have just aquired from ebay some 175 75 16 MT on black modulars. I have standard wheels on the beasty at the moment. Putting the new ones at the side of my old ones they look huge.
Am I heading for a wheel rubbing on the panard rods when I go round corners?...
The wheels look fantastic. but looks like I will need to have the wife lay down so I can use her as a step to get in and out.

Much thank you's

Yes he does... uvverwise they'd be smaller than standard ones an' he already said bigger :p

I would try going in a circle to see if they rub before you adjust anything, if it rubs on yer "panhard rods" as yer put it you've got a big problem more likely to rub against the front radius arms.

Ha... knew there was another name for those rod gadgets. Radius Arms eh. So where are my panards? Could they be the bits in my trousers then?
Will heave the wheels onto the 90 This week end. Then go round in circles to see if they rub. If they do it will be a pain in the 'pandards' and I will have to adjust the stops on the steering.
Sorry you were all correct the wheels are 275's.
