Autodata gives 4.6 for doin both jobs.

A lot of non dealer places will work on Autodata times so if you find their hourly rate you can get the labour price. Then theres parts on top too.

Like pos said It's a fairly straight forward job,so a good few hours, but I'd give yourself an afternoon to do it as the crank bolts can be a pita.

Well local Indy wanted £250 plus vat for fitting, just spoke to a lad on facebook who i went to school with, but haven't seen for years. Turns out he used to work at a dealers:eek::eek:. Said bring it round next week £100 for pound notes.:cool: I know people will say do it yourself, but i'm just not confident enough to do something as important as the timing belt.

Best 'independent' quote I've had for the timing belt is £315 incl VAT (that was 2 weeks back, so will have gone up slightly with new VAT rate)

Thought about doing it myself, but with the potential for stuck bolts not desperately keen with it so cold outside!
