Not picked the car up yet and I'm already looking at stuff to bolt on :D
Its a 1999 110, I've already set my sights on a Mantec snorkle but also fancied a roofrack.
MCB4x4 do a nice looking full length tubular one but only seem to sell on ebay which has got me a bit worried, has anyone had any experiance with these racks?
I've also been looking on the Brownchurch site, a bit more expensive but are they better made?
any advice welcome.

The car will be used mainly on road but some rough tracks and short distances off road but nothing too rough, and I dont envision anything too heavy going up there.

It all depends on what sort of things you want to carry - the new aerodynamic alluminium ones seem to be more popular these days as they are very light. Although manufacturer I have herd good things about is Frontrunner. Though if you've got extra cash to burn, i'd go with ARB. Heres some example links:

Deluxe steel 3000mm x 1350mm | Products | ARB 4x4 Accessories - ARB

Flatdog UK - Front Runner

I have an old Brownchurch rack but it's still got 99% of its galvanising and is a solid piece of kit.

The only downside is that its really too heavy for one person to keep putting it on and off, so it's a permanent feature on my 110.

Kevin @ nene always said, if you want a cheapie good rack get a Brownchurch one.. If you want any other get a Hannibal one.

I have the latter and its fab...and I lifted it onto my 100 on my own. The best bit its full length gutter support so really does spread the weight amazingly.

Thanks guys, I hadn't seen the Front runner ones before, they look the part, looks like I'll have to save up a little more money as they're a couple of hundred more than the one I was looking at :(

should be picking the car up next week :D
