what is the best way ( if any ) to take the roof off my 200 tdi 110 defender advice and photos would help

thanks once again your support and advice was most helpful , the support you get from this fourm is the best ,someone in need of any help with all things landrover will certainly get what they need from here thanks guys i will just keep the roof on

Pillock.

The first reply you got was spot on .. undo all the bolts and lift it off ... there isn't much more to add!

What sort of answer did you expect? Lots of little pictures showing how to use a spanner on a nut, or a ratchet head? FFS!!

Mind, do you want to take just the roof off and leave the sides on? Do you want to take the roof and sides and rear door off? Explain exactly what you want from the roof and someone might have a full write-up with pictures.

Mind, they might not as well!

Consider the good advice in the light of what you paid for it .. ;)

I'm so very sorry that nobody taught you how to undo nuts and bolts. Maybe you should pay to go on a course and somebody there can teach you how nuts and bolts work. You could go buy yerself a haynes manual for £17? or you could download the manuals posted on the forum by these nasty **** takers for FREE.

Just cos you suffer from an inferiority complex or paranoya it doesn't mean that the guys and girls on here are out to get you.

It doesn't matter if you're a newbie or a regular. This forum is about **** taking, banter and helping each other out. Before you join a forum you should read some of the threads. That will give you an idea of what it's like BEFORE you join and take the hump. If you want an anoraks paradise, yer in the wrong place. If you want advice with a bit of ribbing and friendly banter thrown in yer in the right place. You will generally get the answer that you want. You just need to acept that we are humans and not machines put on this planet to serve YOU.

Now......

Are ya gonna pick yer dummy up and join in the banter? Or are ya gonna take the jovalties as a personal attack on yerself and find some other kids to play with?
