roof off a 110

what is the best way ( if any ) to take the roof off my 200 tdi 110 defender advice and photos would help

Just undo the bolts and lift it off it's not rocket science.

Angle grinder and/or gas axe ... YKIMS ..

1st obviously or you'd have got thru the 2nd time, cos the roof wouldn't have been there to get in the way

What is the reason for taking the roof off? Do you really need to remove it fully? Are you taking the sides off? To take roof off... undo nuts and bolts, bag em up lable them left side, right side and front.

The first reply you got was spot on .. undo all the bolts and lift it off ... there isn't much more to add!

What sort of answer did you expect? Lots of little pictures showing how to use a spanner on a nut, or a ratchet head? FFS!!

Mind, do you want to take just the roof off and leave the sides on? Do you want to take the roof and sides and rear door off? Explain exactly what you want from the roof and someone might have a full write-up with pictures.

Mind, they might not as well!

Consider the good advice in the light of what you paid for it ..

Seems the roof didn't need to come off then? Keeping it on is a good decision. If it aint bust, dont fix it. Job done

I'm so very sorry that nobody taught you how to undo nuts and bolts. Maybe you should pay to go on a course and somebody there can teach you how nuts and bolts work. You could go buy yerself a haynes manual for £17? or you could download the manuals posted on the forum by these nasty **** takers for FREE.
