Roof Lights issue

This may seem a bit of an odd subject, but... my 300tdi is silver and the roof lights reflect back off the bonnet really bad. Before I let rip with the matt black paint, has anyone else tried this solution ?

You can try the other solution......

Turn the lights off....................

what kind of roof lights are they? spot! LED! etc.. if you have the room you could put a small deflector under them so the light starts to come down at the end of your bonnet maybe without the need to point them at the sky's

if you can put a photo up that might help someone have an idea. where is the glare on your bonnet (top near windscreen,bottom by the front, entire bonnet).
all the disco lot on here someone is bound to have had the same or similar issue someone will have the answer im sure
