I've got 4 on a 110 so you should get away with 3 on your 90.

I use 3 on my 90 for heavier loads to spread it out a bit, 2 for light loads. The ones I have are an earlier version of eBay item 291080449014.

I used to have a CD Bedford with only 1 roof bar. As a builder, it was interesting to say the least.
