Hi guys,

My front ACE actuator has started seeping ACE fluid from the boot around the actuator arm, so I am suspecting its' internal seals have given up the ghost.

The pipes are also pretty ropey, so I thought I would replace the front ACE actuator and the pipes for it, but try to avoid disturbing the ACE pipes that go to the pump (which are also pretty ****ty, but that would be another job for another time).

RAVE implies the need for a special tool to remove the actuator from the anti roll bar assembly - has anyone changed the actuator without such a beast? Also, I would like to know if there is much risk of disturbing the high pressure ACE pipes when removing the front ones from the ace valve block, as they are held in by the same clamp plate.

Thanks,

David

I've changed them a while ago and didnt use any special tool, just spanners and adjustable pliers.......dont forget about the valve block seals...if u reuse the old ones it will leak there
