What is the best way to remove light scratches from paintwork? It looks as thought it has been driven along side a bush, I have polished with Mehr polish and they go for a bit but then come back.....any suggestions?

If they seem to disappear when wet then chances are they will polish out.
Use something on the lines of Farecla G3 on a damp cloth and by hand polish along the lines of the scratches.
Doing it by hand will take longer than using a compounding mop on a machine but it's safer.
Keep checking and stop when you've taken the eye off them.
Don't try and polish the area flat, you are simply trying to smooth out the roughness in the scratches.

Have you tried not driving along bushes? Maybe they'd stop coming back then. :D
YFO's paintwork was so beyond that i used to wash it with a broom dipped into a bucket of soapy water
