Hi all, now have my replacement box and have to fit it!! a quick guide would be great if someone has the time please:confused: don't seem to be able to find a post on this looks fairly straight forward to unbolt and unplug but what to to be removed to make easy extraction:eek: any guide will help

Yes no joy! have a manual that shows a good breakdown but not the procedures step by step even a shortened explanation from someone who's done it will help please thanks

There is something on here somewhere , but it's case of disconnect all cables and pipes, rad out the way and drop the subframe with the engine on, I don't think the engine box complete comes out the top, I guess Nodge would confirm this

As I remember you don't need to take the subframe out or the engine. You take of the propshaft and IRD some of the exhaust and front manifold, the throttle housing all pipes and wires, unbolt the converter then the box, hold the engine up and drop the box out the bottom.

Thanks Guys i will have a good look to see if i can do it as OWL describes there seems to be space to do it this way will remove wheel arch for easy view and will report back:decision:
