Hi Peeps,

Well as description...

The air suspension has been removed by a previous owner and coils fitted.

I now want to get hold of the air suspension parts to refit them... :)
The only bits left in the vehicle are the ecu, pipework (will need replacing) height sensors, and the wiring loom.

So i am looking for a valve block etc, i will buy a new compressor and bladders,

Anyone done this ??? and does anyone know where i may find any parts to complete this project. Ive had landrovers for years, series IIA and series III's.. but range rovers and where to go for parts is new to me...

Any help or advice is very welcome..

If you haven't already got something get onto Datatek and get yourself the software and cable for the suspension diagnostics. His disc also comes with a guide to fitting the airbags.
As for the valve block don't be tempted to buy any-one. Get some sort of guarantee. The valves might all work O.K. but you want a good pressure switch, thermal switch and driver pack in with the deal.
As far as suspension goes all P38s are the same so you can be picky about which bits you buy and from where.

wow, thanks gents.. really didnt expect a reply so quick...

we had rang rovers on the farm and they ahd air ride suspension, when towing the handling was fantastic, and the confort was unbelievable..

hense wanting to return to the air bladders..

I was also trying to confirm the similarity of the p38, i had read somewhere they were the same... now i know...

thanks for the info....

Thanks again gents...

I have sent a pm to Datatek... and will be getting the software and cable from him as soon as he replies...

I have found a place to get the bladders brand new for £87.00 rear and £111.00 front

so its all the other bits that make them inflate i need now ...

cant wait to get it done...

If you're going original set up make sure nothing is in the way of where the valve block and compressor go on a Classic. In a box bolted to the underside of the vehicle. When I looked at going back to air suspension on a Classic, Arnott (who make gen2 and 3 air springs) where supplying an after market valve block and compressor set up. It wasn't cheap but would certainly have provided reliability. I have no idea if they still do, but might be worth a look.

Sh!t just realised your talking Classic not P38....

Datatek may not be able to supply said cable - check to make sure!

Datatek said he can make up a lead for me... but i will have to change the plug on the vehicle.... so jobs a good un..

Look forward to receiving the lead..

Thanks again gents..

just go rswand make your own lead.

i have retro fitted complete sytem into 2 door rrc..

you will need CLASSIC air box, by airbox i mean metal box under chassis with all the valves/comp in..p38 wont fit,but is essentially the same.
buy a new air dryer too..
