Red Defender 90 300 Tdi stolen from Olbia, Sardinia

I know there's very little chance of ever recovering it but just in case I'll post this on here too

My friend's red Defender 300 Tdi was stolen from Olbia in Sardinia on 8 August 2013 at about 11.00 pm. Here is video footage of the thieves at work:

I have no idea

They took there time! This almost keeps me up at night. We had some pikeys doing some "groundwork" this week in our street. I haven't slept properly since one slight noise and I'm up went out for dinner last night. Couldn't chill out noing it's at home and I'm not. All the ssecurity that's onit. I no they will get it or at least some of it. If they want it.

who was watching the video?

It's the owner's security camera. He was at home watching tv. If he'd seen them he probably would have shot them. The Sardinians reckon it was done to order (the thieves go straight for the Defender without hesitation).
The sad thing is that the vehicle belonged to an off road enthusiast who passed away and my friend bought it from the family entirely for sentimental reasons; he wanted to retain a connection with his old friend.

Ought to be easy to stop it getting off the island if the police are any good.
