Rear windscreen wash operating headlamp washers!

Bit of a weird one this, the Disco I have just bought (1994 300tdi es)seems to have had the rear windscreen washer switch wired up to the head light washers! The rear wiper works, but have no washers, has anyone come across this before and can it be rectified?

Nope, as it shouldn't be doing that, you have a problem, and yes it can be rectified.

Could it be the connectors on the actual washer tank are the wrong way round?
