Having a quick browse, there does seem to be some issues here and there with the rear window but can't find any that have the same issue as me!
Been out this morning with no problems, got some shopping put it in the boot and came home. When I've emptied the boot and gone to close the door the window is completely up stopping me from being able to close it, have tried locking/unlocking, pressing the handle (making the normal noise but not bringing window down), have tried using dash button to open but it's just beeping at me...not sure what to do. I'm not very mechanically minded but hoping there is some easy fix I'm not seeing?
Thanks in advance

Try calibrating window

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes (have radio code if needed)
Reconnect battery window should go all the way down
Turn ignition to position 2
Raise window fully using dash switch

Thanks for the replies...
Pardec: I did what you recommended, upon reconnecting the battery the window did not go down, tried the dash button again still beeping so guessing I've not done it right. Would it make a difference if I had the door open (I had it just on the catch, didn't think about it at the time just in hindsight)
Saxavordian: Thanks I'll go give this a try

I think this may the problem...I can't fully shut it. The window is fully up stopping it from closing it properly. I've gently pushed it to 'close' it (enough so people can't tell it's not secure) but the light on the dash still says it's open. Will this be a garage job do you think?
Tried the above fob button tip too, again to no avail.

Sometimes you can tuck the window into the upper frame on closing the door, sometimes not. It depends on the hight that the window calibrated itself. The other way is to fool the CCU into thinking the door is shut. This is easily done with a No2 Philips screwdriver. If you look at the door latch, you'll see the lock with a U notch in it. This needs to be rotated rearwards with the end of your screwdriver. You are emulating the lock hoop on the door frame. The lock has 2 positions, you need to get to the second position. The door will still be open, but the CCU thinks the door is closed. Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery should then cause the window to drop. If it doesn't, it's possible the cables have gone, which is more involved.
If it does drop, then pull the outer handle to release the lock and close the door fully. Then switch the ignition on and press the window up button until the beeping stops. The window should now be calibrated.

Thank you for your reply again, I will give this when it's light tomorrow and let you know how it goes, fingers crossed!

If the cables have snagged causing the window not to drop. Just thinking here you could ply a little hand pressure on the glass downwards and use the fob key to open. Or have someone press the console switch to lower at the same time as you push down. Otherwise you will need to look inside the mechanics of the door by removal of the door card.

Looks like it may be the cables. Managed to find the U notch and put it in second position upon reconnecting the battery the window did nothing and still just beeping in the dash.
Thanks to everyone for their help but removal of door cards and cables etc is way out of my capability so I'll be having a trip to my garage I think!

Actually the task of removing the door card really not that hard. There are four screws bottom right the rest are plastic pop rivets. You just need to take care with a plastic leaver while undoing all around. the next part is a plastic weather sheet ad you peek at the problem. Save some money at least to confirm the problem. The forum guys and gurls will always advise the best route if the task difficult with pictures too.

The same thing happened to me. It was a broken cable so I changed the complete mechanism. It was'nt that bad a job to do, so good luck to you.
