I have searched this before anyone gets a hardon and tells me to do it!
The only post I can find is from back in 09. It was an 02 plate, the answers he got was pull the cable with some long nose pliers. So my question is this, where is the cable? Is it inside the handle?
Just to add it's the single side of the rear seats.
There was also a reference to making a small piece of ally to go round the bit you pull, presumably to stop this happening again?
Cheers, Mick.

Hi Mick,

As far as I know there is a cable running from the handle straight down to the bottom (floor area). I got the same problem with my LH rear seat. Cable is snapped, and as far as I know I goto cut the back of the seat open to get to it. I didn't bother.

But maybe an expert has a better idea. Nowhere I could see where to open the back of the seat neatly.

Just checked mine. From what I can tell the cable runs from the handle straight across to the lock, however I can't even find the cable for the single seat. I'm guessing it's like the post above and needs to be stripped down to fix it.

Well if nothing elce mate, it tells me the job should only take half our to do. It's better than anything I have found so far. Thankyou.
