I am just not cut out for owning a landrover, just traded in an absolute dog of a freelander for a lovely Td5, a dream to drive, but after a downpour today, found water coming in at bottom of rear screen at lower areas between glass and seal and running down inner trim towards speakers. Also has a bit of an oil seep from a pipe at left front of engine bay, looks like a pas pipe that joins an oil cooler by the look of it, but haven't got a manual for it yet, can any experts out there HELP. Best Rgds.

Are you sure water coming through bottom of window.
I had similar problem with early td5, but problem was door seal.
water was running from top of the door around rear window seal and pooling at the bottom before running down door .

Hi, yes, just wetting the bottom half of the the screen only caused water to seep in, so think its the seal to glass letting it in. main door seals don't seem to leak (at the moment). Rgds.

Leak sorted, took rear screen and seal out, cleaned it, put some silicone grease around edge of glass and seal , got kids to hold screen and seal up to door outside while i pulled seal back into door with string, wow what a relief !:)
