Hi All

Been off line for a while - I'm looking for some advice . I have a 2005 Freelander Sport, auto. Just had the MOT and all back clean with no advisories.

I'm getting a rumble sound and a vibration from the rear when I turn sharp left and right and low speeds, I asked the Garage to look for it but could find anything, I don't think they looked too hard

It seems to be getting worse and need to get it sorted ASAP, any through as to what it might be anyone

Thanks in advance

Either one of your bearings is starting to let go, or the front rear diff mount needs replacing.
Checking the diff mount is easy, waggle it by grabbing the rear of the prop, it shouldn't move about more than a couple of mil each way.
As for the bearings, mine took months before It finally decided to make a proper bearing failure noise.

Or your vcu could be seized causing the back wheels to skip, suggest you find the fault before you use it further, I wonder how they did the brake test at the mot?
