rear regulator change

Hi all
Has anyone got a guide or can tell me How to remove the rear door window regulator? Also How do I detach and re attach the glass and do I need to remove it from the door

Jamesd2009, first thing, use 'SEARCH' for this problem as there are some good guides to do this.
Yes the window is best removed first but remember to disconnect the heater connections!! then mark where the clamps are located on the window bottom.
The regulator is rather easy to remove on one piece as follows:-

Undo clamps bolts 2nos 10mm, one on each side at the bottom of window glass and draw window glass up and out(store safely).
Undo window guide nuts, one each side from near bottom of door.
Loosen top window guide bolts 3 each side.
Jiggle nearside guide top out from door panel and draw out with twisting action to free-up.
Remove power plug from regulator motor and loosen three number bolts that hold the motor in place and draw whole motor and offside guide out complete.
Inspect cabling for damage and repair with replacement kit from OKZAM Ltd on ebay.
Have fun with this last job as it can be a pain to do
