Hi

The rear seatbelt jammed whilst the seat was down so that it couldn't be raised. I tried pretty much everything to try and free it. It wasn't working, and being short on time i just cut the seatbelt.

So my question now is does anyone know the part number or where i can find a replacement? as mine is now fecked.

Cheers matt.....

The belt has a sort of anti roll feature. When the seat is upright everything is ok. Turn the car upside down, or put the seat horizontal and a bit of plastic falls out of place, locking the belt within the roller real thing. Raise the seat again and everything is ok again. Hence best way to fit a new middle seat belt real is with the seat in the normal sitting position.

Something like this: Britcar (UK) Ltd > EVL105090LNF SEATBELT ASSY ASH GREY CENTRE F/L 1A>(G)

Check colour, year, and 3 or 5 door.

Going over jumps too fast un doing a summersault in the air before landing on all 4 wheels.

When I got me Freelander it was piled up wiff stuff in the back. Pigs un bales of hay mostly. Rear seats were folded horizontal. After the pigs was removed, I spent a long time trying to sort the locked rear middle belt. Mistake I made was to try to do it wiff the seat horizontal, and not raised for the normal seating position. When I sussed this out the belt was sorted wiffin minutes. It has a sort of tilt n lock system.
