Rear door lock

Hello,

Help please, I have tried the search but nothing is coming up specifically associated with this issue. Except maybe the door solenoid?

The rear n/s door will not open from the inside, it will open from the outside, it's as though the child lock is on despit me putting the little lever into the child lock off position.

Before I start to dismantle the door has anyone got any pointers for what the problem may be.

Is there a arm from the handle to the latch inside the door? sounds like the clip has poped off, not too sure on door workings.
