Rear door lock problems

More help needed here !

My rear door lock behaves erratically, one day works as it should - the next day it just won't unlock - using the remote fob of course.

all other doors lock and unlock fine, it's just the rear... then, as quick as it went worng, it works again...!


Any ideas anybody? Its driving me mad, if I put something in the boot, its a total gamble as to when io can get it out again...

Hi skinpig,sounds like yer solenoid has got stiction ,undo the plastic rear bit and spray the snitch bit and solenoid with the wd40 ,that should sort it,best oh luck. . .

Could also be a dodgy connection I'm guessing.
Easy fix: Use the opposite door. Not always practical though

None as Mrs Surry told him ta get rid of it or else [smirk]

Oh yeah, I read it in more depth and I seem to have made a silly mistake.
My hippo had one tailgate, didn't call it a door. Doors on the side, tailgate at the back.

Yer I had to do all that real people bit last weekend

IF its a 3door check micro switch at base of C post is depressed with hood refitted.
