rear clicking help please

hi got 02 td4 when pulling away in 1st got a rear nsr click then it does it again when u change 2nd and third sounds like its coming from the rear drum had drum off had a look all looks ok only thing that i did find was the part which handbrake goes to when uou move it side to side that makes the same noise as the click i am getting any ideas anyone many thanks is it possible it could be the 2 montings that hold the diff in place i replaced the front nose diff mounting not long ago as this was shot

Ever discover what the noise was? Mine seems to make a similar noise?

check your subframe bolts are tight as these make a clicking sound when a bit loose thet must be 140 Lbs or 190Nm if you find them to be loose then check where the nuts are on the body there maybe cracks around it and if so will require welding Hope this helps

Could it be your cv joint? they sometimes make strange noises when worn.

I will take a look my Landy is very clean and only has 150000km and has not really worked of road though that will change! So i dont think it should have any abnormal wear on it
