hi yes just found the landrover parts one got rave and could not see any think about the rear plate on there

70-6 brakes description and operation on rave, there's an exploded diagram of it.

It don't tell you how to do it though it's just a description, try haynes.
I've lent mine out so can't rtfm

i think i should manage it replaced my heater matrix ,brake shoes ,support bearings, do all my own serviceing and so on

Good take your time and put it all back the same went it came off.
Hardest bit will be bleeding brakes but plenty of threads on that.

Depends how much fluid you let out?

If you stop it/block it as soon as you get the brake hose off you'll not lose that much

yes was going to use hose clamps well looks like i am the only one to have this problem thanks for your help

well went for mot and hand brake pulling to left so they stripped drums off to clean and they said that drives side back plate the lip had rusted and as started to come of the plate so now got a slight rubbing noise its the lip the drum runs around
