Radiator with oil cooler?

Hello all Just thought I'd say hello, this is my first post and it's a bit of a strange one im afraid! I am trying to find a radiator with a built in oil cooler for a little project I have and have been told that there is such a radiator fitted to some land rovers but not sure which ones? What I am really after is the dimension of this rad as space is a bit on the tight side! any help would be greatfully appreciated!

I have had a good google but not managed to find any dimesions and having a bit of experience with car forums I know that these kind of places are generally the pinnicale of all knoledge! Thanks in advance, David.

i know a 200TDI rad has a built in oil cooler, cant help with dimension though.

Its called a Luego Viento, its knowhere near finished yet but its a lotus 7 type thing, but I have put a sierra cosworth engine in and I just want to try to get rid of as much heat as possible, the turbo is both oil and water cooled so I want a rad as big as I cant squeeze in but also want to cool the oil as much too but space is limited to what ever I can squeeze in the nose cone!

The rad in me Def 200tdi is 16" high x 21" wide or there abouts.. dunno about depth though

19j engines have built in oil coolers i think. there'll be loads of these rads around cos of ppl swapping to a 200tdi but there wont be an intercooler

yer thats the only thing the 19j rad will be bigger than a tdi rad cos it doesnt have an intercooler shoe horned in next to it!

I had a mini years ago with a separate oil cooler, that was quite small and you could mount that easy enough, i guess you can still get things like that from new

A rad from a V8 RRC or Disco with auto transmission has two oil coolers but I think might be a bit too big for what you got in mind.

Thanks for the help guys looks like 16" x 21" should fit in as long as its no more than 6" wide, So shouldnt be a problem! I had thought about seperate oil cooler and rad but it would make life easier to have them all in one as I am a little pushed for room!

I know its a bit of a swear word on here but Pajero's had rads with oil coolers built in.. I think it was for the auto box trans fluid ... but it may do the trick

I have a spare 200 tdi rad. It came out of a running discovery that i had the engine out of, think its fine if you want it pm me.

Might also be worth trying Think Automotive in Isleworth. They will make rads and oil coolers to your spec. Chances are it will cost a bit more but a custom build should make the absolute best of the available space
