Due to the roads I travel to/from work, I need to fit some auxillary driving lights for range down country lanes. Initally, I plan to use a pair of 8" units mounted on the bumper but I'm not sure what manufacturer to go with for price/quality.

Ring and Wipac appear cheap and poor quality so out of the running.

I have a pair of Hella FF75's on my bike and really impressed but don't appear to do a decent 6" circular unit.

KC's are expensive but quality.

Cibie's are quality but no longer available.

I like the angel eye effect but unsure of quality.

Comment/observations very welcome.

Cheers
Rob

Cheap lights are just that, cheap, they rust and fall apart, fill up with water when wading and are basically are a waist of money.

Something like the KC's or Lightforce etc are well worth the investment "imo"

Hi fella!

The chrome/halo's like on ebay are naff tbh, rust quickly and fill up with rain let alone wading water lol!

I have two front cibies and will replace the top 4 with the same (if I can find any) or use Hella.

Best bet is to try the smaller motorfactors who usually have new old stock.

i got a decent set of hard lookin 7inch comercial spots off ebay for 15notes rom N.I free delivery, look strong enough for roof lamps as they have the plastic rim aroun them unlike the wipacs which are glass frame to the edge..... short of me spending over a ton on hellas each
