I have got 2 issues with my land rover. The first is that the front right wheel is leaning in quite badly but it still drives fine? the other issue is that it is only working as front wheel drive does any one have any ideas that could help?
thank you

If you jack the right hand wheel up is there any movement in it, I certainly wouldn't recommend driving it...

How do you know it's only front wheel drive?

Hello Henry!
How have you diagnosed that it's front wheel drive only?

And have you got a picture of the wheel?
It could be swivel bearing as mentioned before. Maybe even a completely FUBAR wheel bearing... I'd jack it up, get someone to give the wheel a good wobble while you look for play. Failing that get that wheel off, and have a proper look!

Isn't that what I just said? Echo Echo Echo

I had the off side front wheel on a Defender leaning in a the top, I replaced the swivel bearings and wheel bearing and it still leaned, I never did resolve the issue, it was over 10 years ago now on a C reg 110 so it's hardly an issue. But I am curious as what else can cause the issue and how to fix it if it ever happens again. I had no bent outriggers and the chassis seemed straight at the time and I remember even changing the front shocks too.

The mystery lean......

First off stop driving it, get it jacked up and check that wheel for any movement whatsoever, other than rotational that is. Check with the brakes on too which will tell you whether it's the swivel or not. Also unless the rear prop is missing then it's not only front wheel drive. If the rear prop is missing then you must be driving in diff lock. What makes you think it's only front wheel drive?
