Hi Guys,

We have recently removed our ACE system from our Discovery TD5, series II and replaced with standard anti-roll bar system. WE still have the ACE parts for sale is anyone is interested. The car was fine for a few weeks - just the amber light showing permanently on the dash.

Over the last few days the rear suspension has been dropping over night. We have been informed that the ACE system and the SLS system are linked. We would like to keep the SLS system in place is possible without having to replace with standard springs.

We took the car to a land rover speciailist who connected the car to the T4 diagnostic system. We believe the problem might be with the electronics in the car as the car is still showing as having ACE.

Or this may be a complete seperate SLS problem. We do not believe this to be an air leak as the car will stay level for 10-12 hours at a time and then drop in the early hours of the morning. Before the car was connected to the T4 system we were able to recitfy the issue by removing the RGL5 fuse from under the bonnet and re-connecting. This no longer works and we are now awaiting a tow truck to get us home!!

Has anyone eperienced this problem before or knows how to turn off the ACE in the ECU?

Thank you for your help.

I had the same with a hairline crack in the top plastic of the Air bag near where the pipe goes in

Thank you for your help. We think when we jacked the front of the car up to do the front anti roll bar it might have put too much pressure on the airbags causing damage. Will order replacement airbags and hope that the pump hasn't suffered irrepairable damage.
