Im due to turn the fuel pump up a bit soon, what i would like to know is there anyway you can wind up the boost on the ole snail without a manual boost controller ? Like an actuator you can adjust or something ? Its a 300tdi if this helps

Have you got a spare engine standing by, for when you fûck this one up?

Because if you don't know how to adjust the wastegate, there's every chance this is going to end in tears.

It really worries me peeps come on here and attempt to raise the performance of these vehicles - they were NEVER built to compete in terms of performance with even the most basic family saloon.

2200kgs/111bhp/0-60 in 18 seconds!!! - never going to be sporty.

Why should it bother you what i want to do with MY vehicle ? Its an engine, its tunable, every engine is tunable whether it was intended to be or not ! If i want to try and squeeze a bit more grunt out of my engine then so fûcking be it .. This is why i dislike forums because theres always a killjoy lurking behind a computer screen waiting to pounce !

I ask again, does anyone have a guide to this, because everyone has to start somewhere and LEARN how to do things !

Got any pictures as a guide or know of a thread ?

its on engine block side of turbo ,its easier to remove inlet manifold then exhaust manifold ,though you could just remove rubber pipe going from turbo to the actuator, blocking pipe after, pressure from turbo pushes on diaphragm which pushes on rod opening gate as pressure increases, shortening the rod increases pressure needed to open gate, theres a pic here

a good few adjust pump too to increase fueling
