Hi
If its a P38...Open the bonnet and in the scuttle (where back of bonnet shuts) there is a plastic cover 3" x 10" held in with 2 Phillips screws ..One cover each side..Undo screws and the filter pulls out towards you.

Another thing i will do from now on is to spray bug killer in the vent while i’m doing the pollen filters, it kills all the bugs in the A/C system and takes that musty smell away (i think it harbours legionnaires disease and other nasty killer bugs too) and it make it smell a whole lot better, apparently your meant to do its every year, i have a 97 (almost from new) and its the fist time i did it a month ago, it only cost £3 a can from Ebay, but shop around (i’m a tight fisted git) i have seen them go for £18 (make sure its a large can though) you run the A/C as cold as you can (manual) turn the blowers on to max, then spray the can in the air ducts (also make sure its not on recycle on the settings) you need the air flowing from the engine bay, it only takes about 2 mins to do, you have all the covers off and the filters out so why not do it at the same time??

Did mine friday (As well as other thinge eh dopey) Piece of cake, although there were a few leaves on top of the filters, and i think one dropped into the fan because it made an annoying tick tick noise for 48 ish hours,so beware.
