My current drive is a Disco TD5 facelift and i love it untill last week ......

The 3 Amigos showed up and fault was diagnosed as front right wheel bearing which was totally fecked.
This has been replaced (*I also had the front to rear brake pipes replaced for MOT) and all was well for about 50 miles when the buggers came back on ! The diagnostics showed the same fault code as before ie wheel bearing.
They reset on ignition toggle but then ping back on again usually just as i come to a complete stop.

The sensor and wiring were replaced with the new hub !

As the fault code is showing that bearing i am at a complete loss

So any help advice much needed and appreciated

Thanks

Ps I do still love it !!

was the new sensor removed from new hub when fitting
As far as i know the new hub came complete with new sensor and was fitted accordingly
The lights were out for about 50 miles before they came back on again !

Interestingly after they renewed the brake pipes front to rear the ABS warning light stayed on for about 10 yards before it went out
Is it possible that they haven't bled the modulator properly and this could be the problem

Have you been in any water lately? Heavy rain, pressure washer etc.
It could well be water in the sensor, may just need reseating.

Hope you get it sorted.

Take it back to where they originally repaired it.

As an up date and information on this the fault code on the diagnostic thingy is showing 0064 an 0084 front right electrical failure with status as intermittent so i am guessing that the new hub/sensor must be dodgy

unless any one knows different ??
