Hi hi guys.
Got the freelander all up and running now but am needing to put some effort into getting it presented right and the plastics outside are all dulled and off colour as well as the rear end having speckled oil staining from when the turbo gave out so my question is simply:

What's the best way to bring all this back up to a nice finish again???

Whilst on cleaning suject there are also an odd few marks on internal plastics although condition inside is very very good generally.. so same question relates.

Thanks for help, in advance :D

Oh my my. :p

Be ready for all sorts or recommendations.

Everything from Peanut Butter, WD40, Heat Guns, Linseed Oil - even 'Willo Juice' - you name it and that product has it's band of trusty followers.

As for me I would recommend the Mr Muscle multi surface detergent (the one in the orange spray bottle) and to restore the original colour I use Autoglym Bumper & Trim Gel. :D

Singvogel.

I've used boiled linseed oil on mine and it seems to last about 3 months before it fades, lasts much longer than back to black etc but it does need a good 24 hours to dry otherwise it runs if it rains

Thanks guys.
And yes.. search button was broken. NOT.
Just thought i would throw in a quick question before heading outside for the day as didn't have much time and was going to hit this tomorrow if i can. Didn't expect to be back so early and now i am, i can search a bit deeper.
Feel free to throw any more suggestions in though. The more the merrier as they say.

I recommend Autoglym bumper care also, but I'm gonna borrow a heat gun soon and give that a bit of a go!

parently it is sposed to put the volitiles back into the plastic, but if you use the method i used it will do this itself ;)
