Has anyone got a picture of a series with wolf ET0 (rather than ET20) rims. Want to know if they stick out too far or look good. Tom

I've just had a look at mine, it has 235/85 on OEM LR HD rims ET20.6. They tyres are almost flush with the body. Add 21 mm and they will stick out. Looks wise - probably a bit odd, but what about driving and MOT? Are these on your radar or only the look when its stopped?

That’s good to know. Want it to be flush. If normal wolf ET20 get it flush that’s perfect. My only other consideration was better turning circle as I live on a hill with hairpins but don’t want it sticking out.

ET doesn't work that way. You'd need to know the width too.

i.e. a 6j rim with ET00 will stick out a different amount to an 8j rim with ET00

I can assure you because I went out an looked, that the 6.5J x 20,6 Wolfs fit a Series with 235/85 A/T tyres (ie a bit beefy but not full mud). The tyres are just inside the body and they just clear the springs. You may have to slightly adjust the lock stops but not much. As I say above, I have the OEM LR wheels, (used off e-bay) and I think LR got these just right to fit without mods. Mine is ex-mil so it has the 2" lift. Without that the 235/85s may hit the front wing under some conditions as they are 31.7" dia.

Pretty sure the standard 5.5" wheel has an ET around 33mm, if the 6.5" rim has an ET of 20mm then the inner rim distance to chassis is exactly the same to the nearest mm. If you run on 7.5" tyres with 6.5" ET20 rims its possible you may gain a bit of lock, if you go with 235/85 of a similar diameter then you will lose a bit of lock compared to the standard 5.5" 7.50 tyre.

This is an OEM LR HD rim. It has the part numbers on and the rim size and offset. This is fitted to an ex-mil LWB/109 with no mods other than the mil 2" lift it came with. Tyres are 235/85LT16 A/T Studs are 1/4" over length.

I missed you said 'wolf'. Which ones are you looking at? I think there are some 16x8 ET00 rims in the wolf style. OEM Wolfs are 16x6.5, so quite a bit more narrow.
I think they will just be about ok on a Series. Although big chunky tyres might have potential to rub in a few places.

But they will be close to sticking out of the arches.
