agree.. clean up, put the pistons back and see how much play they have. if its 'acceptable' ( there should be some), re-hone the bores and put new rings on. re-seat the valves and see how you get on
^^^Think of it as an education. It will clean up, it just takes patience. at least by the end of it you will know your engine pretty well, it wont be an unknown quantity.

it will need a rebore and new pistons to start with,worth pricing up ,unfortunately most engines will be worn unless already redone and priced accordingly unless your very luckyFew more pics, got 2 pistons out the others wont budge, there is some rough bits on the edges of couple of the cylinders, lots of rust everywhere , not sure if this will come good or not, might be cheaper and easier looking for somthing thats already running. as spend on this and try and fix it.

Well I aint got a clue what hem areat least this engine doesn't have piston return springs

looks like rear main cap its supposed to come out to remove the crankWell think I've really gone and broke it now, this fu!!!ing thing fell oot whatever it is, pistons still wont move, bits and pieces allover the place I know I should of took my time and labelled everything I took off but to late now, that bloke off the fu!!!ing krypton factor couldn't put this back together
