parts suppliers- Leeds

Are there any part suppliers who will have the normal defender parts in stock in Leeds, or is the best bet mail order from Rimmers/Paddocks/Craddock etc?

I am after some door barrels to start with, but i dont doubt that i will need other bits in the coming months, not least some door repair frame sections.

Any good breakers around here also?

adventure 4x4 are really good, dont know about the gildersome one didn't know it was there. will probably take a look this week as only 10mins from home

I got some seats, a roof and a few other bits last week form 4X41...he even delivered my roof for me as I had no way of transporting it.

to update this thread. i first used adventure 4x4, because of all of the recommendations, they were on route to where i was heading. I have since used them a number of times, and they have been most helpful, better than any of the online prices I have seen, and most importantly dont take the **** out of me when i dont actually have a clue what i need.

Jake Wright Land Rover Specialists in Burley-In-Wharfedale Landrover restoration and sales - Yorkshire, uk I've known them for six years now and they're superb, plenty of parts in stock or if they haven't got it on the shelf they can usually get it the next day with a choice of Aftermarket, OEM or genuine. They're very good on price too and will often come in under Paddocks or LRDirect for AllMakes or OEM parts.

i use adventure 4x4 for new stuff like suspension etc, and 4x41 for repairs (although craigyb is my biggest fixer upper now lol) and second hand parts, ray is a top bloke and will not rip you off, when i first started to use his place if something was broken he used to show me what my broken part looked like and what it shouldve looked like before doing any work

Ive used Simon for the last 4 years, very good service and has most parts in stock.

Lad who had landy before us used Simon services said he was very good
