Parking Sensor Fault

Hi,
Could anybody please offer any help as my parking sensors have decided to stop working, the orange light flashes twice when reverse is engaged but then nothing, the mirrors still annoyingly dip but no active sensors any help please

This is 2011 Freelander 2

I can help you with the mirrors.
Adjust the mirrors to where you want them while you’re in reverse and it should remember the setting. I will have a look at the diagram later for the sensors. What model and year is it?

Now they have randomly just started working

could this maybe be a damp issue

Sounds like a connection issue, intermittent faults are a bind to track down.

It's most likely a sensor. If you have a diagnostic run on the PDC, it will show which sensor is to blame. I'm assuming you've made sure the sensors are clean.
