Parcel Shelf for a Disco 2 (Black)

Does anybody have a Discovery 2 black retractable parcel shelf they would like to sell.

I bought my Disco 2 second hand and the shelf was missing. I am trying to find a replacement which is quite difficult here in Sweden.

I have searched eBay and there is occasionally one available however, the sellers will typically not post out of the UK......which is a bit of a bugger.

To be fair Redhand i doubt the seller would post to Sweden for a tenner.

To be sure. I have found a few on flea bay UK but only for delivery in the UK. You don't get many of these in black on the international sites and anywhere outside of Europe would kill me with p&p.

I found a new one at Famous Four for £215 + p&p but I thought it wise to ask the friendly folk in here before I part with my hard earned cash.

I managed to get one via e bay for £29.99.

Unfortunately the muppets at City Link managed to bend it whilst delivering it to me.

Parcel Monkey (who I contracted with) have just agreed to reimburse me the purchase price plus the shipping cost.

I get round the problem by getting stuff sent to my mate in UK. He just changes the address and gets DHL to send it on. A lot of people out here do it that way, costs about 20 quid for 30 kilos. Takes about two weeks to get here.

I followed your advice and bought a parcel shelf on eBay in the UK. Having it shipped to a friend who will forward it to me here in Sweden.

Dear All,

Finally received the "parcel shelf" or "cargo shelf" or "hat shelf" or "security cover" or whatever other name it goes under in the post yesterday. Bought it on Ebay UK and had it sent to a friend who then forwarded it to me her in Sweden. It took about 5 weeks in all but at least now I have a little peace of mind when I leave stuff in the back when around town.
