Hi Guy's,

Ive got a couple of little problems with my heating (see other post) but on inspection of the seat fusebox I noticed that I'm only getting about 8.5 volts to the fuse box.

Im assuming that I should be getting the full 13.7 volts?

I have had a strange battery drain issue which if I leave the car for 2 days, the battery is flat..

Can anyone please help me on this?

Many thanks in advance

Ash

battery drain is a common problem, use search function for loads of info. also use electrical sticky to test electrics .this will eliminate all basic problems,

P38 hate low voltage and will do all manor of weird things as the voltage drops you need to find the drain, one cause it rf interference not letting the becm (the under seat fuse box as you put it, the main ecu) go to sleep, quick test is to disconnect the blue wire on the rf receiver under drivers side rear parcel shelf support, you will have to use remote at back window to unlock and see if the battery takes longer to go flat, if its that then the is a cheep fix can give details if required.
A usefull bit of kit is a fuse buddy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fuse-Budd...383029?hash=item540e5f5ab5:g:UkQAAOSwRLZT54v8
will tell you if there is power being drawn.
how big is your battery, they need the biggest you can get in normally 120ah 1000cca.
