p38 rear suspension problem...not A.S

HI GUYS AND LADIES,,,,,
just noticed today passenger side rear shock as lost its nut and washer..meaning its rattling about...ive ordered a new set..arriving wednesday...[01/09/2011]...my dilemma is is can i still use it on a broken damper..when i have air suspension ?????

think the answer is quite obvious, why would it be fitted if it was not needed

reckon handling might be a wee issue

handling is ok...my dileema is i need to drop off a 8 foot long trailor off tomorrow ...un loaded.......50 mile round trip

Can't you just put a new nut and washer on it? I am assuming that you have also lost the rubber spacer as well but at least a temporary nut and washer will stop the shockky from jumping out of its lower mounting.
