Hi Guy's,

Ive got problems where my heaters only seem to blow warm.. I was told that it could be the blend motor, but I'm not convinced as yes, the left hand blend motor does throw a fault up but why don't I get heat out of the right side?

Ive plugged my nanocom in and read the live data (below).. I can't understand why the air temp is showing at -38.33 when its actually about 4degrees.

Could this be something to do with it? I've attached the live data hoping that someone will see something that i can't & give me some advice.

Many thanks in advance..

ASH

what about the Nanocom HEVAC temp sensor readings ? These tell much more about what the HEVAC thinks is going on than engine temp readings.

+1 and if you engine is only 61deg, then the heater will only just be getting warm.

Below is the Nanocom screen you really need. Heater core should be about the same as engine temp, because the sensor is usually fitted to the heater intake pipe. BTW, this is from the Nanocom Emulator rather than a real screenshot !!

here is the live data after the car has been running for about 30 minutes

Well the engine & heater core sensors seem to be in agreement. BUT 40deg is far too cool for the engine after 30 minutes.

Sounds like the coolant is low or not circulating properly. I doubt a seized vicious fan would over-cool that much ??

The -38.88 has nothing to do with the HEVAC. It is a preset of IAT in the engine ECU to ensure EGR operation.
