p38 electric windows

had to take my battery off the other day to recharge..
my question is can i reset my windows without taking it to a land rover dealer with a dianostic comp

Hold window button till window all way down then hold for a second.
Hold window button till window all way up then hold for a second.
Repeat for all windows,sunroof etc.
Job done.
