What is the general thoughts please on this OBD11 plug in tool??? Would be interested to know how many P38 owners have one in their glovebox and if they are worth buying or not??

At the moment i don't have an issue so unsure if its worth having one in my P38 arsenal??

Cheers

I have both in my glove box the eas kicker and the resynce tool.
You proberly wont have the lap top to hand when your 150 miles from home and the eas goes into hard fault and puts you on the bump stops. Am glad of mine when it happend to me

I know it's not the same, nor the same price range, but I'm so glad i got a nanocom. I don't go anywhere without it
Please tell me more about this nanocom device you have?? i bought a Hawkeye last month albeit is not exactly easy to use!!!

biketeacherdave: you mentioned you have the EAS kicker and the resync tool too????? so do you also need another item to go with the EAS kicker as they mention nothing about it in the listing???

You can buy bits of kit that are job specific or a more expensive piece of equipment that does most if not all you will require.recommendation and research are the key.;):D

well, select your land rover type, for me its p38, select the version, for me thats mortonic (bosch/thor) then go into whichever section you like, ABS, HEVAC etc.. its all quite logical

Cheers, Its just i am new to these vehicles and don't yet fully know the sections and identifying names yet. My P38 gets recovered Monday/Tuesday and off to the local P38 specialists to hopefully be fixed.

Never, ever had an EAS fault.

I have a Nanocom which is the only thing worth it. If I didn't I'd have Storey Wilson's EASunlock and a cable off Datatek.
