P38 diff drive flange into 300tdi diff?

Is it possible to fit the 4bolt input flange from a p38 rear diff
To a 300tdi 3bolt diff ?
I am doing a lose the chocolate doughnut conversion
I have a 200 tdi prop coming in the post but I have
A p38 diff sitting in the shed so could I use the flange
Or will I need to get one from a 300tdi front ?

P38 diff is different in every possible way IIRC!

Don't know I've not looked properly at it as yet
But I was hoping that at least the input flange was a common
Part as that's the bit I am short of otherwise
Without dipriveing the mrs's disco of her front diff

200tdi input flange will fit, straight swap with the 300 donut flange

You'll need to heat the spigot on the 300 flange to pop it off to get at the nut underneath...

Yep done the 200 to 300 swap before
I'm just being tight a I have this p38 diff sat ere
And hoping they used the same flange/spacer

If you want a new one the part no is STC4858.

Mine cost about £20 including new pinion nut/bolt and seal.
