P38 diesel randomly cuts out

Hi first post here hope someone on here can help me with a running issue I have on my 01 2.5 p38, it runs then randomly just tries to stop as if someone is turning the key on and off then it will just die
The fault codes that come up on my snap on scanner is as follows

1 adjust amount mechanism
5 commencement of delivery sensor
47 engine speed sensor

I have checked wiring harness with a multimeter and all seems OK, I have also checked the relay box and nothing seems to be burnt and I have thrown a crank sensor at it but the fault is still there, has anyone else had these faults or able to point me in the right direction as its baffled me a bit,
Any help is greatly appreciated

our experience on here is you will be very lucky to get a snapon diag to talk properly to a dozzel p38 they are not really obd compliant,
is there a tuning box fitted they can sometimes cause odd things, is there any air bubbles in the clear pipe from the filter to the injection pump

Hi I have heard that the snap on readers aren't the most reliable on the p38 but unfortunately nobody that I know of near me has nanocom, there is not any form of tuning box fitted to mine, and I don't have the clear pipe on mine as it was cracked and leaking, but I have good fuel flow to the pump as the in tank pump is about 3 months old, it doesn't drain back etc when not running so pipe work is good

¥+1^^ when was the last time the fuel and air filters changed? Welcome.
 
Think I have finally sussed it, or fingers crossed anyway, after throwing a crank sensor, a stop solenoid, and top half of the fuel pump was still showing and doing the same faults and cutting out, after cutting the fuse box open and resoldering about quarter of the board up it now runs and stays running, but still shows delivery sensor fault so I'm assuming that it is/was a supply issue for the ecu, new fuse box is ordered so fingers crossed it will be done and back on the road tomorrow
