Hi all, I've just removed the cylinder head from my 2.5 BMW engine to investigate a cooling problem. Unfortunatley I didn't make a note of the order the pipes were fitted to the back of the diesel fuel pump. (Doh!) The Rave manual doesn't have this info, so wondered if someone would be good enough to take a look at their setup for me when the weather warms up a bit.

Many thanks,

Alan

LOL, I did exactly the same thing! even if you've undone the clamps on the pipes they only go back in their original locations, offer them up and they should be a 'natural' fit if you have to force them even slightly, thsy are in the wrong place!, double check by checking the firing order, the pump rotates anti-clockwise viewed from the back IIRC.

Thanks gents, unfortunately I removed the clamps as I had to remove the pipes one at a time as I don't have the correct socket to undo them. The heads away at the engineering shop at the moment so I won't be rebuilding until the weekend.
